Job Responsibilities
Ensure timeliness, accuracy, and completeness of data collected at health facilities.
Supervise and provide guidance to staff responsible for data collection and tabulation.
Collect, analyze, interpret, and produce hospital statistics.
Present statistical results in graphs, charts, and tables.
Consolidate statistical reports from different departments and hospital projects.
Provide reports on births, death audits, disease surveillance, and other HMIS reports to supervisors.
Perform data entry and participate actively in internal and external data quality assessments.
Supervise health centers in the catchment area to ensure data reliability and quality.
Participate in hospital operational research and monitoring & evaluation activities.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications
Candidates must hold one of the following:
Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Data Science, Public Health, Information Systems, Community Health, Nursing, Global Health, Clinical Medicine & Community Health, Paramedical, Environmental Health, or Demography with recognized professional certification in Data Management or Data Quality.
Advanced Diploma in ICT, Public Health, Community Health, Nursing, Clinical Medicine & Community Health, Global Health, Paramedical, or Environmental Health.
0 years of relevant experience required.

Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Results-oriented with strong digital literacy
Ability to present statistical results in tabular, graphic, and written forms
Knowledge of M&E, health data analysis, management, and reporting
Ability to design and use health information system platforms
Fluency in Kinyarwanda, English, and/or French; knowledge of all three languages is an advantage
Clear and effective communication skills
